Cancel renewal or request a refund
You can cancel a renewal through available billing controls or contact support. Cancelling renewal alone keeps access until the paid period ends and does not automatically refund the current period. To end access early and request a refund, contact us while that paid period is active. A reason is helpful but not required. Claims for duplicate charges, faults or statutory remedies are not limited by that ordinary-request window.
Ordinary pro rata refunds
For an eligible request to end a paid subscription early, we refund the net subscription amount paid multiplied by the smaller of (a) the fraction of paid time remaining and (b) the fraction of the included paid usage remaining. We use actual billing records and usage at the agreed end of access. Continued use after a request can change the result. We do not multiply the two fractions together.
Paid time remaining is measured from the end of access to the invoice’s service-period end, divided by that invoice’s full service period. For usage, we calculate consumed requests divided by the allowance funded by that invoice. If your plan has separate chat/coding and image pools, the highest consumed proportion determines the remaining proportion; pools are not exchanged at invented credit rates. Only enabled, included pools count.
Annual purchases include all twelve months of funded allowances in that calculation, including future months not yet issued. A monthly usage reset is not a new annual payment. Where usage windows and invoice dates differ, allowances are allocated proportionately to the overlapping service period so usage is not charged twice. Limits changing mid-period and Business seats are allocated against the relevant invoice items.
An example
You paid $12 for a month. Half the paid time remains and 75% of the included usage remains. The ordinary refund is $12 × 50% = $6, plus any corresponding refundable tax. If only 20% of the usage remained, the ordinary refund would be $2.40. These examples do not limit a stronger statutory remedy.
What counts as usage?
The usage screen currently shows request allowances, not a cash balance or measured GPU credits. Failed requests should not consume the completed-use portion of a refund; queued requests must be resolved or cancelled before the final calculation. Tell us if a request was counted incorrectly. Promotional or free allowances have no cash value. Discounts reduce the amount originally paid and therefore the refundable amount.
We will provide the calculation, including relevant dates, funded allowances, counted usage and prior refunds. We will review disputed counts. We never refund more than was actually paid, and do not deduct an extra handling fee under this policy.
Business seats and access
A workspace owner can request cancellation or a refund for a Business purchase. Partial seat changes are reviewed against the affected invoice items and service dates, subject to the minimum two-seat plan while it remains active. A pooled usage balance is not a separate refundable balance for every team member. We will explain the access change before completing it.
Consumer rights come first
Mandatory rights override our ordinary calculation. UK and EEA consumers may have a 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts. Where you expressly request services to start during that period and the law permits it, only a lawful proportionate charge for services actually supplied may be retained. Merely signing in does not waive all cancellation rights.
If the service is faulty, not supplied or materially misdescribed, legal rights to correction, a price reduction or a refund still apply. If immediate digital supply requires separate express consent and acknowledgement, we must obtain it in the appropriate flow; these words alone do not provide that consent.
How to request and receive a refund
Use Help & support in your account or the Contact page. Include your account email, invoice reference if available, and whether you want renewal cancelled or access ended now. Do not send a full card number, password or recovery phrase. You may use: “I request cancellation/refund of my Orvra subscription, ordered on [date], for account [email]. My name is [name], my address is [address], and today is [date].” A physical signature is only needed for a paper request.
We review requests manually; a request does not automatically issue money. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method unless law or that method requires another agreed approach. We aim to process approved refunds within 14 days and comply with any earlier legal deadline. Your bank or provider may need additional posting time. Crypto checkout is not live; any future crypto refund rules must be disclosed before purchase.
